So in 2009, when we were consistently dissatisfied with the poor customer service and product selection of many businesses in the aftermarket parts industry, we decided to form JDM Obsession, a business with three core principles:

The JDM Obsession name is best explained as follows; ‘JDM’ is a commonly used acronym for Japanese Domestic Market – in this case being cars produced in Japan. ‘Obsession’ refers to the level of interest shared by Japanese performance import enthusiasts. Yes, we know how you feel!

A: We only use the most best freight services. In our experience, the carriers we use are both economical and reliable - with most goods being covered in transit by insurance.

Q: How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

A: If the item is in stock, most orders arrive at their destination within 1-3 working days of the order being placed. However, there are times when external influences outside our control may cause shipping delays - like natural disasters, public holidays, and industrial action. If the item is a 'special order', there may be a longer lead time as the manufacturer or supplier will need to ship the item to our warehouse first. If this is the case, we will advise you of the approximate lead time before you place your order.

Q: Help, my order hasn't arrived yet!

A: Firstly, be patient! We will, where possible, attempt to supply you with a tracking number so you can view the progress of your delivery online. In the highly unlikely event that the shipping company manages to misplace or damage your item and it cannot be recovered, all shipments are insured.

Q: Can I pick up an item I've purchased from you?

A: To keep our overheads as low as possible, we do not operate a retail shop front. This means that we can pass the savings on to you, the customer! However, pick up can be arranged for large items strictly by appointment only from Artarmon, Sydney. For security reasons, all orders must be paid for in full prior to pick up.
